Computer Assisted Real Estate System (CARES) is an easy to use multi-user
system designed specially for the real estate industry.  CARES allows persons
operating within a real estate company to better perform their daily function
through the use of fast and efficient computer technology.  SCO XENIX or SCO
UNIX is the operating system and SCO Foxbase+ is the relational Database
Management System.  CARES runs on SuperMicro computers such as 80386, 80486
etc.  The hardware and operating systems are comparatively inexpensive.
The CARES Basic System contains over 18 programs which run independent of
local real estate board data, such as:  Company Listings Program, Advertising,
Referrals, Signs, Lock Boxes, Highlight Sheets, and Showings/Appointments.
Offers, Trade Record Sheets, Ticklers, Electronic Mail, Customer "Matchmaker,"
Company Bulletins, and General Broadcast are additional programs among others.
CARES has integrated Picture technology as well.  CARES MLS System contains
among other programs, a program for the downloading of MLS data and
recompiling same into a multiple of usable programs; Street Activity, Specific
Property Activity, Comparable Market Analysis, Current Listings, Sales, and
Expiry Search Programs etc.  CARES has been programmed for easy single key
use.  Designed for the Realtors not computer experts.  Full screen menus,
simple on screen instructions, allow salespersons access to better data so
they may better serve their clientele.
